Privacy policy

Last updated 24 October 2026

Origraphics is not open yet. Right now the only personal data we collect is the email address you give us to join the waitlist. This page explains what happens to it.

Who we are

Origraphics is run by Karel Halldór Karelsson in Iceland. For anything about your data, email origraphics@origraphics.com.

What we collect

We don’t ask for your name, and we don’t use analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Why we collect it

To email you when Origraphics opens and to offer you early access. That’s it. We won’t add you to other lists, sell your email, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

Where it is stored

Waitlist emails are stored in a Google Sheet in our Google Workspace account. These services help run the site and may process data on our behalf:

Some of these companies store data in the United States. They protect transfers out of the EEA with the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Until Origraphics launches and for up to 12 months after, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

Email origraphics@origraphics.com, or reply “stop” to any email from us. We’ll do it within 30 days.

If you think we’ve handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Icelandic Data Protection Authority, Persónuvernd, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

The waitlist is not meant for children under 13. If you’re under 13, please don’t sign up.

Changes

When Origraphics opens and you can make accounts and pay, this policy will be updated to cover that. The date at the top shows the latest version.
